Special Education/504/Home and Hospital/Student Study Team

Special Services will provide site administrators with the most up to date best practices for all issues pertaining to students with special needs. Addionally, time will be allocated for administrators to have the opportunity to ask questions about all issues surrounding students with special needs.
Outcomes: A working knowledge of the following: Student Study Teams;Full Inclusion Model;Least Restrictive Environment; Submitting correct IEPs--changes to the process for 2008;Progress Reports;Case Management;Manisfestation Determination;504 Plans;Home and Hospital; Special Education Best Practices relating to manifestation determinations, attending IEPs and implementation of IEPs; Self Review.
