This training will provide a comprehensive perspective on the role and responsibilities of school personnel with regards to the educational and school placemet decisions for foster youth. Ed. Code 48850(a) and Assembly Bill 490 will be used as the foundation for the discussion of enrollment procedures, attendance questions, grades and credits, and the laws pertaining to all educational and school placement decisions for foster youth.
