Expellable Offenses: A Frank Discussion + Discipline Atom! Jul 25, 2008
PART I: The purpose of the training is to review and reinforce the need for a legal expulsion and the appropriate recommendations needed in writing for APAs. Participants will become familiar with Education Code and district policies pertaining to suspensions and expulsions; the appropriate format for the presentation of the expellable offense, and the mandatory items needed for the completion of the expulsion process. Outcomes: Receive all paperwork for expulsions;receive written processes, policies, definitions needed for the completion of an expulsion packet; master the expulsion process and know how to complete all mandated paperwork; share best practices.
PART II: Learn the Discipline Atom (which will replace the scanning of referrals.
